"I'm missing part of this list, but this is taken from a now deleted helpful thread that many posters contributed to.

One of the frequent questions on this board is what actors have been in at least three episodes of each of two movie series (i.e. 3+ episodes of series 1 and 3+ episodes of series 2). Then the question was made more difficult: what actors have been in at least three episodes of each of three movie series.

In this post you'll find the list of the three/three people. The next post down will have the three/two people. And the third post will have those still active actors who are approaching qualification in one of the first two posts.

These lists have been compiled from answers given by the many people who have replied to this question in the past. If I'm missing a qualifying actor, or have made a mistake in these listings, feel free to PM me.

For the sake of these lists, the LotR trilogy is three movies - not one big movie cut into three parts. The two Star Wars series are counted in whichever way most benefits the actors (either as two separate trilogies or as one connected series).

(Below information, a bit out of date. You now need to verify your acct, before your allowed to post on IMDB. EDIT: 3-15-2007 orange stars will be phased out.)

The stars are now located in your bios. Posters were getting confused with the stars. Many thought that it meant that you were an Admin. The truth is that IMDB, is trying to cut down on trolls and make IMDB more enjoyable. (Works for me!!!!!) (Currently you have to authenicate to post/PM on IMDB. If you are already can post at IMDB, than don't worry. You are already in the system. New posters will have to get the star though.)

I noticed that some people, have ORANGE STARS- what is up, with that?

From what little I know, you get more access, and it cost about 13 dollars (USA dollars), a month.

The good news is that you won't have, posting quota times. That is a major plus, especially if you like to solve movies on the I Need to Know Board.

Bad news, is that you are not giving Diplomatic Immunity. Just because you pay a monthly rate, doesn't give you special rights. You are still going to be spanked by Admins, if you misbehave. You have no special privileges, bestowed upon you.

Don't use the wrong posters REPLY BUTTON.

If you reply to the wrong button, they may be sent an email, from IMDB. (Yes, IMDB will send you an email, if you set your account to do so. How to get IMDB to send you emails http://tinyurl.com/2xc8rp)

Remember to click the proper Reply Button. It causes havoc, with Nesting Threads, when you reply to the wrong button. (experiment with threads and use the 4 types-----thread-flat-inline-nest-----. You'll catch on, even I got the hang of it.)

If you want to reply to JohnDoe31, then find his post and hit his reply button. It will be located on his post. Don't use the bottom posters reply button. Unless you wanted to reply to the bottom poster.

Flat will have the oldest posts at the top and will be in descending order.

Nest will have the post in an easier method, to see who is replying to who. You reply to JohnDoe31 and your post will be right below JohnDoe31 post. If 4 posters are chatting with him, your post will be the 5th post below his. It can be a bit tricky to understand at first, but practice looking at the different thread methods.

You might notice that DarthVader31 is chatting with two posters. You will notice that their posts are under DarthVader31 post. It makes it much easier to follow coversations. Some people are stubborn and stick with Flat. I'm a flat myself, but sometimes I will use the Nest method.

How do I get more responses?

Write a descriptive subject line.

Don't write "help me" or "please help".

Make it understandable, at a glance.

If you are looking for a sci-fi movie. Mention "sci-fi movie question", be obvious about it.

If your movie has a guy with two heads and a chainsaw, mention it.

"Two headed killer with chainsaw, what movie?"

Don't ever type- "please read my question".

IN THE BODY TEXT.

Don't say you saw a movie when you were young.
Say something like this. In 1995, I was 5 years old. The movie was black in white. The movie felt like it was from the 1960s. Mention what country you were in, when you viewed it. Was it a tv movie? Was it a low budget movie? Mention all the details that you can think of. A little detail, might trigger a posters recollection. (NOTE you can only edit a post 10 times, before it locks up.)

Don't ruin my vision, don't TYPE IN ALL CAPS. It is hard on the eyes and will make posters avoid your query. Don't shout, in all caps. It is quite rude.

If you don't get your movie solved, then edit into the subject line this word: (UNSOLVED). Many posters will see a thread with plenty of posts on it. They will assume that it has been solved. If they see (UNSOLVED) they know at a glance, that the posts is still at play.

How to properly BUMP up, a post,

I've got posters complaining, that I'm reposting my question. How do I do this BUMP thingy?

It is very easy, to do. Reply to you own post. You will see a yellow button that says reply. Press it. You will notice a 'subject line' and the 'body'.

Write BUMP, in the 'subject line'; every poster will know that you are BUMPing your post.

You should type BUMP (nm). The nm means "no message". The body will not contain any additional information. Posters will know at a glance, that the body is empty. Posters will appreciate it.

The reason for putting BUMP in the subject line, is to help as many posters as possible. Many posters like to scan a post (they look at the subject line). If you put BUMP in the body, than you are going to make posters a tad angry. These posters are less likely to help you, later on. Be polite and put BUMP in the subject line. Nobody likes to open up a post and find out, that it doesn't contain any information.

I wouldn't BUMP more than once an hour. If you keep reposting, you run the risk of being 'ignored'. (BUMP once every 8 hours and you will get the world. Don't forget we have 24 time zones. lol)

Hmmmmmmmmm. Evidently you made a mistake or two.

Here are some popular mistakes.

1-- You have to use BRACKETS. [bracket]. You probably used parenthesis. You can't use (Parenthesis).

2-- / is a slash. That key is located, below the question mark. That is the proper key to use. Use the /slash/. I'm thinking that you accidentally used the "back slash" \\\\\. That is the wrong key. Don't use that key.

The links worked. Now lets do the link you wanted. Hit the back button and go back a page. I want you to carefully delete the imdb link. Don't erase the urls or the [brackets].

The imdb link should be gone now.

You must have made a simple error.

Try doing this. Goto the markup enabled page. Look at the different Smileys. Look below the Smiley faces and you see things like [newbie], [confused], [smile], [sad] and countless others.

Go to any Board and hit someones reply button. No we aren't going to respond to them. We are just going to practice. Copy and paste one of the Smiley commands. Beneath it, try and copy it exactly. Hit the Preview Button. Aha, you now have 2 somethings. That is two more than you had before.

Remember practice makes perfect. Just remember one thing, don't hit the Post Button.

Perhaps no poem ever touched and thrilled the hearts of the people of the South as did the "Conquered Banner," by Father Ryan. It came from the heart of the poet at the time when the Southland stood in grief and in untold sorrow. Though his face wore a serious and almost sad aspect, he dearly loved to gather children about him, as he seldom spoke to older people. He always held that little children were angels and walked with God, and that it was a privilege for a priest to raise his hand and give spotless childhood a blessing, writes "Aquila," in the Colorado Catholic.
It was several years ago that "Aquila" met with a young lady from the South, who related to him the following beautiful and touching incident in the poet's life. The little story is as follows:
"One Christmas - I was then a little girl," says the young lady - "I came to Father Ryan with a bookmark, a pretty little scroll of the 'Conquered Banner,' and begged him to accept it. I can never forget how his lips quivered as he placed his hands upon my head and said (a little kindly remembrance touched him so): 'Call your little sisters, and I will tell them a story about this picture. Do you know, my children,' he said as we gathered about his knee, 'that the "Conquered Banner" is a great poem? I never thought it so,' he continued in that dreamy, far-off way so peculiarly his own; 'but a poor woman who did not have much education, but whose heart was filled with love for the South, thought so, and if it had not been for her this poem would have been swept out of the house and burned up, and I would never have had this pretty book-mark or this true story to tell vou.'
" ' O you are going to tell us how you came to write the "Conquered Banner!" ' I cried, all interest and excitement.
" 'Yes,' he answered, 'and I am going to tell you how a woman was the medium of its publication.' Then a shadow passed over his faces a dreamy shadow that was always there when he spoke of the lost cause, and he continued: 'I was in Knoxville when the news came that Gen. Lee had surrendered at Appomattox Court-House. It was night, and I was sitting in my room in a house where many of the regiment of which I was chaplain were quartered, When an old comrade came in and said to me: "All is lost, Gen. Lee has surrendered." I looked at him. I knew by his whitened face that the news was too true. I simply said, "Leave me," and he went out of the room. I bowed my head upon the table and wept long and bitterly. When a thousand thoughts came rushing through my brain. I could not control them. That banner was conquered; its folds must be furled, but its story had to be told. We were very poor, my dear little children, in the days of the war. I looked around for a piece of paper to give expression to the thoughts that cried out within me. All that I could find was a, piece of brown wrapping paper that lay on the table about an old pair of shoes that a friend sent me. I seized this piece of paper and wrote the Conquered Banner " Then I went to bed, leaving the lines there upon the table. The next morning the regiment was ordered away, and I thought no more of the lines written in such sorrow and desolation of spirit on that fateful night. What was my astonishment a few weeks later to see them appear above my name in a Louisville paper! The poor woman who kept the house in Knoxville had gone, as she afterward told me, into the room to throw the piece of paper into the fire, when she saw that there was something written upon it. she said that she sat down and cried, and, copying the lines, she sent them to a newspaper in Louisville. And that was how the "Conquered Banner" got into print. That is the story of this pretty little scroll you have painted for me.'
" ' When I get to be a woman,' I said, ' I am going to write that story.'
" 'Are you? ' he answered. 'Ah! it is dangerous to be a writer, especially for women; but if you are determined, let me give you a name,' and he wrote on a piece of paper 'Zona.' 'It is an Indian name,' he said in explanation, 'and it means a snowbird-to keep your white wings unsullied. A woman should always be pure, and every mother should teach her boys to look upon a woman as they would upon an altar.' "
Thus was the incident related to me by my Southern friend. Many and many a time in the hurry and bustle of the noisy world the words of the gentle poet-priest came back to me, and in writing this little sketch of how it was through a woman's thoughtfulness that the great Southern epic was given to the world I can not refrain from repeating this little talk, which was the outgrowth of this story, and which might prove a help anal a benediction in many a woman's life.
No inspiring column marks the spot where the priest, patriot, and poet is sleeping, but his words still live in the hearts of the people, and the regard, the respect, the high esteem he held for woman bespeaks the purity of his soul.
Rest there, saddest, tenderest, most spiritual poet heart that has sought our hearts and breathed in them a music that the lapse of years can not still, sleep and rest on! The visions that came to the mind of the priest as he I walked down the valley of silence, down the dim, voiceless valley alone," are living on, for they are prayers.
Upon reading this account of the origin of the "Conquered Banner," Mrs. J. William Jones (wife of our Chaplain-General, and a devoted Confederate from that day in the early spring of 1861 when she buckled her husband's armor upon him and sent him to the front down to the present day) has written the following lines:
HOW FATHER RYANS CONQUERED BANNER WAS RESCUED FROM OBLIVION.
He shared their every hardship, as he did their hopes and joys,Inspiring faith and courage as he cheered those ragged boys.Our soldier-priest and poet stood unflinching at his post,Till the news of Lee's surrender told the story: "All is lost."
He could bare his breast to bayonet, be torn with shot and shell:With victorious, tattered banner, he could bleed and die so well.But when those dreadful words, "All lost," broke o'er him like a flood.His very heart seemed Weeping, and his tears all stained with blood.
How illy could he bear it all, so sudden was the blight,glut for the poet's genius, which filled his soul with light.He sought in vain material his burning words to giveTo future generations, and to hearts where he would live.
A crushed brown paper on the floor served then his purpose wellFor though it seemed a conquered cause, he must its story tell.He wrote it out and fell asleep: next morn thought of it not.New troubles filled the poet's heart his poem was forgot.
The morning dawned: that broken priest, but soldier neverWas gone, but left, all blurred with tears that paper on the floor.A woman, loving well our cause, found, and its folds unfurled,The "Conquered Banner," and it floats unconquered to the world.
At last he bivouacs in peace: no monument stands guardTo point us where the poet-priest sleeps sweetly ‘neath the sodHis glorious rhythmic poems rare a monument will stand;He was its architect, and built both gracefully and grand:
